Single row fully loaded cylindrical roller bearings are designed to withstand extremely heavy radial loads and medium speed applications. Due to the absence of a cage, the bearing can accommodate more rollers. NCF type bearings have integral retaining edges on both sides of the inner ring and retaining edges on one side of the outer ring, allowing for unidirectional axial displacement. The fixed ring on the outer ring can keep the bearing components integrated. The fixed ring cannot withstand axial loads during operation.

SL fully loaded cylindrical roller bearings are usually composed of a combination of two guide edges of a bearing ring, a cage, rollers, and guide rings, and are generally separable bearings. This type of bearing is relatively easy to install and disassemble, especially when it requires interference fit between the inner and outer rings and the shaft and housing, which highlights its advantages. This type of bearing is generally only used to withstand radial loads, and only single row bearings with both inner and outer rings with ribs can withstand small axial loads or large intermittent axial loads. Compared with deep groove ball bearings with the same external dimensions, this type of bearing has a larger radial load capacity and is also suitable for high-speed rotation from a structural perspective.
